I am a former patient of Dr Alexander James of Wollongong. I was treated with his methods for three weeks in August, 1969 and have had no asthma attacks for over 12 months.

When I first approached Dr James my chest expansion was nil, but now expands four inches, and I feel it is my duty to write and explain to you my history of asthma and my progress since being treated by Dr. James.

I have been a constant sufferer of asthma over 35 years and since having been treated by Dr. James in August 1969, have not had one attack for over 12 months. This is the only winter I have ever escaped an attack of asthma. I had a slight bronchial attack but no asthma. I was prescribed tablets by a local doctor, but when Dr. James learned of my illness he asked me to come back and see him, and on showing him the tablets I was taking he told me to take no more. He then applied the vibrator which he uses and believe me, after treatment I never needed another tablet.

During my years of suffering I have attended most eminent specialists such as Dr. Bernard Riley, Dr. David Foss, Dr. Haber, and many more, too numerous to mention, who gave me relief, but did not cure.

Two years ago, living in Sydney, my condition became worse and I was hospitalised as I became cyanosed and needed oxygen.
Dr Seleki of Chester Hill advised me to try a dry climate, and having a son residing in Canberra I sold my home and went to live there.

About one week after my arrival I once again became cyanosed and was admitted to Canberra Hospital by Dr. Keith Barnes who can verify my condition at the time, as he tried everything possible. These two doctors have seen me at my worst and I am sure that they will substantiate my statements. I am most grateful to Dr. Barnes as it is he who helped me make up my mind to leave Canberra and try Dr. James' treatment.

On reading about Dr. James' claim to cure asthma I showed it to Dr. Barnes who said to me: "Dr. James has qualifications and may have something". How right he was. Having a holiday cottage on the coast I decided to try and make an appointment to see Dr. James. Believe me I was not very optimistic after years of suffering, and trying every conceivable drug, but after three weeks treatment of exercises and vibrator I began to feel a different person.

I would not admit that I was cured until I had experienced a winter, which has always been my most critical time, so I can say without fear of contradiction that his methods are successful."
