An eight-year-old boy who could not walk home from school two years ago, today
plays soccer after a 10-day treatment by Dr James.
Steven Vadla, of Wonson Avenue, Coniston, has been a changed boy since he first
visited the aged doctor.
Steven, who suffered asthma from the age of 1, had been given numerous asthma
cures and even a 12-month trip to Greece to relieve his condition.
As an emaciated six-year-old, Steven was taken to Dr James.
On his first visit, his chest expansion of half an inch was increased to three
and a half inches.
After the first treatment, Dr James collapsed with a heart attack He was admitted
to hospital on the condition he was allowed out for half an hour a day to continue
Steven's treatment.
After the second treatment Steven, who always lagged behind on the way home
from school, because he could not keep up with the other children, was first
home.
Today Steven is one of the most active of the young children in his street and
plays with a junior soccer team.
His father, Michael Vadla, an engineer at a coal mine, said Dr James performed
"a miracle" on his son.
"We will be forever grateful to Dr James." he said.
Another father, Mr Frederick McDonald, a company director of Church Street,
Wollongong, is also a champion of Dr James' no-drug cure.
His son, David, who is now 14, was taken to Dr James 12 months ago.
"David has had more schooling in the past 12 months than in any previous
year." Mr McDonald said. "David had frequent spells away from school
because of asthma attacks, but he has not looked back since his visit to Dr
James."
Mr McDonald said he felt patients who regressed after Dr James' treatment had
only themselves to blame.
"I found when David neglected to do the exercises prescribed, he slipped
a little but quickly recovered when he regularly did the exercises." he
said. "In addition to the clinic, I feel something should be arranged daily
where young children especially could go and do the exercises."
Mr McDonald said he was pleased the authorities had finally agreed to make available
Dr James' Method to asthma sufferers.
